Take the # of people who are traveling to your wedding from more than an hour away. Assume they'll stay the night.

Divide this number by two, since some will share a hotel room.

Add 3 extra rooms just in case

40 people - divided by 2 - equals 20 rooms - plus 3 - equals 23 rooms should be reserved for your wedding guests.

Be sure to reserve your hotel room block 6-9 months before your wedding for the best chance of accommodations.
